A series of interlocking short stories, set in the early 1990s around the electric rave scene, in a post-Thatcher Britain. This mirrors the current youth culture as we go into another Tory regime, who continue to take away the hope and ambition of young adults, foreshadowing a counter-cultural backlash similar to that of the early 1990s. The shocking and vulgar themes mean this will be an ‘In Yer Face’ experience filled with sex, drugs and violence. Set during an illegal warehouse rave, Acid House promises to deliver comedic highs and tragic lows, as the characters escape from life through a pill.
Due to the standard of this show, Liverpool John Moores University Deputy Dean came to see the show and award a regeneration of 30,000 for the theatre space.
