Degree Show // Artistic Director // 2017

The festival consisted of eight large productions. Including critically acclaimed writer Luke Barnes’ Bottleneck debut performance in its hometown, Liverpool. Six of our shows are new writing AND directing by our own JMU students. BB’s Blue Bar is eagerly preparing for Open Mic nights, RuCarl’s match game and of course, the highly-anticipated Lip Sync Battle 2017 that is set to close our Fest. The raw and real exposure series promises to reveal hidden truths and personal tales.

For our degree show, I was appointed as artistic director, I am up with the overall vision of our fringe fest. This gave me the experience and knowledge of creating my own pieces while also supporting the artistic vision of the whole festival.
