Neverland Can't Sew my Shadow Back On // Solo Piece // 2017

Twins are supposed to be there forever. A unique bond. A part of each other. However, what happens when one of them is no longer there anymore?  She’ll always be part of me – won’t she?

This solo piece explored grief at different milestones and the journey of twinlessness from birth to graduation. This piece was in the form of performance art and used methods of movement, sound, projection, video and writing. This was mainly done by none verbal communication symbolising yet she is gone she is still by my side. This was an autobiographical piece showing how the impact of losing a twin as a child and how the effects moments that should be taken togeher.
